Used in the essay as the demonstration rather than as an authority. Clause XXIX, the due process clause, is shown as legislation.gov.uk serves it: Akoma Ntoso XML, addressable down to the section, with an ins element marking a tracked amendment to a law then in its eighth century.

The point being made is about format rather than content. A text that survived on parchment for seven hundred years is now queryable, diffable and citable to the clause, which is the change the essay argues the law is overdue.
